The drink specials are great, there is a different "pint of the day" thats $2 on any given day. The pitchers are cheap, the beer is ice cold and never skunky or old. Shots of Jack Daniels are about $4.00 or so which is reasonable. The bartenders and staff are very friendly. The regulars are also very cool, you can strike up a conversation with anyone there. There are televisions all over the place and its much friendlier to sports fans than any other place I've been to. It has the feel of a family owned and run place. The decorations are cool, lots of empty beer cans and bottles on the ceiling rafters and Duffy's paraphernalia all over. The food is great. There is a real kitchen staff in this place that cooks up amazing burgers, hot dogs and other simple but very tasty foods. There are daily food specials like pork chops and a 16 oz T-bone steak which is amazing. Service is very fast, friendly, you won't have any problem with rudeness or slow service here. There is plenty of parking outside and this place has great St. Patrick's Day festival outdoors with tents and music, food every year. Its not to be missed. The crowd inside ranges from UM students, to business people, to older folks, to families, to married men or single guys who talk sports with their friends. There are some young women who come here, and if you snag one who does you can imagine she is a keeper! This is what those Bennigans, Chilis, TGI Friday's generic bars have replaced. Lets be thankful we still have Duffy's around while we can.
