Improv Comedy Club - If you’ve ever seen an episode of “Seinfeld,” the Improv will be instantly familiar - brick walls, neon signs, a clutch of small, round tables, a mic and a spotlight. They can’t attract Chris Rock or Dave Chapelle anymore (those two have moved on), but the headliners are usually well-known touring comedians with solid, road-tested acts. Come early if you want to sit in the front (but beware, you might become part of the act) and leave your cigarettes at home, the smoking section is tiny.
The menu used to be notorious in its horror. Recently, the management contracted the California Tortilla restaurant to cater the club. The improvement is noticeable, if not eye opening. Remember that there is a two drink and one menu item minimum.
