9:30 Club - THE place in DC to see bands that aren’t big enough to fill RFK, yet too big to play your local dump. Be on your toes and check the calendar on their web site because tickets to a concert held by the latest indie darling goes quickly in a town with this many college students. Once there, you’re well taken care of. Don’t be put off by the huge crowds – 9:30 Club is huge. There are four bars, big balconies, two box offices and a downstairs lounge to escape the sonic barrage that the main acts are capable of delivering on the state of the art sound and video system.

If you LOVE music like I do...

I have always had a BLAST at the 9:30 Club, there are many different places you can watch the feature band play! This venue always gets sold out for any big name bands so waiting last minute is not recommended. As random as this may sound, I really thought that the staff were really great especially helping crowd surfers down and making sure people were safe. The fact that you can watch the feature band from many different angles makes the 930 Club a place I'll definately return to!
