AHHHHHHHHHHHH The good old Cowboy. I remeber when it was the crescendo then JWs CowBoy The BS Hey wheres Dino?. he kicked some butt back then..lol. I also worked at Crackers and Hppy daze ..lol i got around.. but do miss the old cowboy n Bandstand. i had a blast.. When i started i was workin the stations by the DJ booth. and then moved to the back door. yey i was movin up., lol.. then moved up to the Head of security. I worked at the BandStand from 1986 till 1990. I loved it there. Always a lot of action no matter what night. Would anybody be interested in making a FaceBook page for Cowboy Boogie or BandStand so we could post pictures from the old days and maybe reconnect with a long forgotten friend or co-worker?

I too became a Realtor after I moved to Texas.

I used to got to CB almost every night back in the 80's to 90's. Jack would give me all my drinks on the house. They called me Tequila Sheila..lol..Miss all my Boogies Buddies. It was a nice place. But I can see why it closed down. After they opened to the younger crowd and hip hop, it got outta hand..just my 2 cents. But I loved it there anyway and went religiously. Made a lot of friends there. Got married in 2001 and moved to Texas in 2004...Here's to you Jack. Thanks for all the nice memories at your club.

I used to be door man, barback, worked with Jan in the office and towards the end did Promotions after DEL SMART Passed away. I miss my old freinds and co workers. I hear JACK and JAN are running a club called Millcreek now in Riverside county . IT was fun working there, Jan was cool lady (even though some said she was kind of mean) lol i love her. Now and then people search and find me that used to work there. My old freind laurie that worked in Coat check with TERRY emailed me , wonder what happened to ROYCE mgr of Crackers? I'm so bummed! The Cowboy Boogie was one of my favorite places. I celebrated my 21st birthday there when it was called the Bandstand. LOVED the Marines from Tustin and El Toro..those were the days. I worked for Jack over at Fritz's, first (@$* and then dancing. Does anyone know if he still owns Fritz's? Live in Vegas now and NOTHING here compares to those good old days in the early 90's. Kokomos, McCormick and Schmicks, and the Boogey were my favs!
Time marches on.....

Wow, I was just looking for info. on the old Cowboy Boogie and to find out it has closed makes me sad. So many wild memories there. It was home away from home three or four nights a week. The staff, the bouncers, Paul the DJ , the Rowdy gang and the tatoos behind the curtain. Too many great momories. Does anyone remember Chirstmas in August? Does anyone remember what date that was in August? Maybe 1993 or 1994? Howdy says "hi " too!

I remember Carlos the DJ. He was so fun. Is the Boogie going to open again? Does anyone know if Jack still owns it? It is so sad to see all my memories of fun Saturday nights gone....
