Florentine Gardens - Florentine Gardens has gone through a lot in its lengthy history, and right now, its future is up in the air. This former Hollywood supper club used to feed the Valley of the Dolls crew (Bogart, Hepburn and Monroe), and is a definite piece of Hollywood history. However, its latest incarnation as an 18+ club hasn't done much to endear it to the community, and currently, the city of Hollywood is trying to decide whether to tear it down and build a fire station or other civic building there--which would ultimately be a shame. Tawdry or not, Hollywood needs its landmarks.

Nice size club, lot's of people but place needs a facelift! (were in the 2000's not in the 80's), Crowd is ?, $20 for parking is too much!, The man with the baseball cap taking tickets at the door needs to GO!! he is rude & should not be a door person! The sound system sounds great, Saturdays DJ's are Great! I believe one is DJ Illusion & DJ Milton with the exception of the radio station dj's, they SUCK! all they do all night is annouce their names "Eddie Juan" & keep talking & singing during each song, get rid of them!. $5 for water or soda is way too much! $3 is better. They need to change the food they sell, It's the same food every time I go there. Lots of Security is a good thing. Overall from a 1-10 scale I give it a 5 If you have no where else to go to Forentine Gardens.

PLZ DONT TARE IT DOWN! FLORENTINE GARDENS IT ONE OF THE MOST BAD ASS CLUBS OUT THERE NEXT TO MARGARITA JONES! ALONG WITH BRINGING DIVIRSE CULTURES INTO THE CRAZY HOLLYWOOD, ITS A REALLY GREAT PLACE TO B! COME ON I LOVE THE PLACE! I WOULD CHANE MYSELF TO THERE B4 THEY TAKE IT DOWN!

I remember when i first went to florentine gardens. I had so much fun, if it gets taken down, i don't know what i'll do. THat is my favorite day of the week (thursdays)

I USED TO GO TO FLORENTINE FROM 86-92..THIS WAS THE CLUB IN HOLLYWOOD OTHER THEN BILLBOARD LIVE AND WHITE LOTUS..BE A SHAME TO TEAR IT DONE...

I loooove this club!! I used to tear up the dance floor back in the 80's and 90's! I plan on going back someday, so they better not get rid of it!!
