Derby Club - One of the best spots to have a drink and listen to some live blues, swing or rock music early in the evening, then eclectic electronica and underground hip-hop later in the night. When the city was smitten with swing, the Derby offered it almost every night. Lately, swing dancing has been relegated to Sundays, but you never know what the next schedule change will bring. Lately, the entertainment offerings have included live Latin rock and (helllOOO!!) burlesque shows. With its circular bar in the middle of the ballroom and 30 foot high domed ceiling, The Derby can get away with just about any kind of entertainment, as long as it's cutting-edge and cool.
