Troubadour, W Hollywood

Troubadour - The Troubadour hosts acts of both flash and substance. Along with the Whisky and the Roxy, it has one of the best sound systems in the area, plus a wonderfully situated VIP room where music and film industry bigwigs congregate. A fairly intimate venue, it's the perfect spot to check out up-and-coming local bands, touring acts that are beginning to generate industry buzz, famous solo artists, and even the occasional surprise concert by a mega-act--for example, the KROQ-sponsored Coldplay appearance that occurred in March of 2005. If live music is the lifeblood of Hollywood, the Troubador is a main artery.
