Palms, The - This unpretentious bar/club has karaoke, salsa dancing, pool, and lots of ladies--who tend to like other ladies. But the bar still makes guys feel right at home, with dollar drink nights on Wednesdays, karaoke on Mondays and 50 cent Beer Bust Sundays (4pm-8pm). The service could be better, but the waitresses are nice enough to make up for it, and the food’s not bad either. The dance floor can get hot and cramped, but a little body heat suits everyone fine. You won’t find nearly as much pretension -- or hair products -- as you would at Rage or Fubar up the street.
