Northside Bar and Grill -

Comfort is king at the Northside Bar & Grill, Wicker Park’s warmest spot for food and spirits. Dark woods and exposed brick set a soothing tone in the main room, while the recently remodeled back room sports numerous flat screens, an oft-used pool table and library-worthy wood panels. There is also an enclosed patio with a second bar—a perfect spot to sit down for an excellent meal and one (or three) of the many regional or imported beers that the Northside stocks. The crowd arrives early on the weekend for televised sporting events and killer bloody marys, but don’t mistake this for a sports bar where only jocks are welcome. The Northside makes sure that every patron feels at home.
