Jacqueline's - Serving up cheap suds in a decidedly unglamorous room, Jacqueline’s is a universe unto itself in Chicago’s Boystown neighborhood. Surrounded by upscale dance clubs and sex toy boutiques, this ostensibly straight corner joint has a slight hillbilly vibe. Soot-black ceilings and weathered brick walls frame a small, smoky room with few amenities. Darts, a poker machine, and a honky tonk jukebox entertain the always colorful regulars (including one who drinks her light beer on the rocks), while a rainbow flag atop a year-round Christmas tree signals that gays and lesbians are more than welcome.
