Charleston Bar & Grill - Despite the Dixie-fied name, The Charleston is one of the only old-school New York dive bars remaining on the circus-like scene that has sprung up on Williamsburg’s Bedford Avenue. The dimly-lit pub style bar always maintains a decent-sized crowd, but never gets too packed that you can’t quickly order another round. The classic jukebox, relatively cheap beers on tap and slices of pizza served until late night ensure a set of regulars are perched at the long wooden bar and relaxing in the dilapidated booths seven nights a week.
