Strata New York

I went here this past weekend with about 4 of my friends and one of three lines wasn't that long but we sat there and watched the bouncers take bribes for groups of people to cut the line at one time as we sat back and patiently waited to get in. At one point we were the ONLY ONES on line and we still didn't get in because the bouncers were trying to see who else could cut with bribe money. They were also letting people in with dirty sneakers and we were dressed accordingly and they still gave us a hard time. To top it of, the bartenders suck too. I ordered only 2 drinks, and both of them came wrong. Very Sad.

There was a BIG miscommunication in VIP on my last visit to Strata(two weeks ago). They overbooked table-service VIP and we ended up getting kicked out and manhandled by the bouncers. Rude and perverse staff with nasty attitudes. The club isn't that spectacular for the staff to act the way they did. Crowd wasn't diverse and there were alot of wallflowers. Save your money and don't waste your time, Pacha is less then a block down anyways!

I went this pass saturday to celebrate my bday with all my peoples and i had an excellent time. The music is poppin and it was a good crowd. I would definitely come here more often.

Good music, but 2 of the 3 times that I've been there - huge fights with 10+ guys have broken out in the middle of the dance floor. no thanks
