The first of this six-city chain, the venue was once the Thomas Beauty Salon, and some of the vintage, 1960s-inspired salon gear still stands. For $10, get a martini and manicure (careful of which barkeep you go to--you don't want that red OPI all over your hands), or choose a cocktail sans beauty treatment instead. DJs spin nightly most nights, even during happy hour, and a gorgeous crowd of hipsters is always guaranteed to be holding down the fort.
