So no, you can’t get over to India this second for that wedge of real naan you are craving, but Aaheli is basically the same thing. When you walk in, you see actual Indians eating there, so you know it’s legit. All the dishes are perfectly spiced and the presentation is always nice—it doesn’t just look like the typical chicken in curry heaped onto a plate. And as another plus, the restaurant is BYOB, so maybe if you drink enough too then you’ll start to actually believe you are in India.
