SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE
Let me start by saying I will never set foot in this place again, and this is somewhere I grew up frequenting the bar scene on the weekends.

We planned a party here with about 1 years notice, approximately 5 months prior to the part we stopped in to have dinner on a Friday night. The place looked like it was falling apart, chair cushions torn, ceiling tiles falling out, and just plain dirty. The bathroom was worse than the ones in Penn Station. After seeing this I was concerned and looked for the manager to inquire if our party planner was in so that I could speak to him. Surprisingly I was told he no longer works here, what do you need. I explained the situation and asked why no one had let us know even though we had a party planned (deposit left). (now I'm becoming concerned that if letting us know was neglected what else would be?) I explained my concerns and she said she would get our file to look into it. My boyfriend was leaving the dirty restroom and ran into her, she simply handed back our deposit check! WHO DOES THAT? I went to speak with her and she came over to our table. She then informed me that all of the things the old manager had promised us they were now going to all be additional costs on top of what we had already agreed to. I asked her, with the economy like it is I'm surprised you are willing to just turn away business. At which point she replied that she doesn't have the authority to write a check. This led me to believe the owner did it and when I asked her she said yes, he did. Upon refusing to give me his name I started to get upset. Another man stopped at the table and asked her if she was alright, my boyfriend then inquired as to who he was that he was intruding on our business. He said he was one of the 3 owners (not the one who wrote the check). His name was Joe-right now I can't recall his last name, Something Irish I believe. He basically said we can't be bothered to discuss the situation and it's easier to just give your deposit back. Needless to say we were apalled at the situation, how we were treated, and the condition of the building. We have since found a much better venue, with better service, better food and a heck of alot cleaner.

My point is that these 3 40something year old drunk past their prime boys (one of who's name is Joe) are the poorest excuse for business owners. They clearly run a sham job of sorts and unless you are a drunk UNDER 21 year old trying to get into their bar they have no use for you. I truly hope their business survives because if not with their lack of business ethics they are sure to be homeless and broke awfully soon.

IF YOU WANT GOOD FOOD, GOOD SERVICE, AND CLEANLINESS DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO ELSEWHERE!!!
