The Library at Loews Regency-- The slick, old-school elegnat lounge at the pompous yet stylish Loews Regency is not a place where you can throw your sweatie on. Buttoned-up collars and slick cocktail dresses are the regular apparel of the cream of the crop  crowd; mostly the UES residents. The menus and wine list make for some very interesting reading. A lively place to gather for light meals, weekend brunches or drinks, amid shelves of books and comfy banquettes. Of course, The Library also boasts two flat-screen televisions, the world’s leading newspapers, and the best people-watching in town.
