Do Not Go.
I admit that this was the first haunted house that I have ever been too, and this is also the first online review that I have ever written. After last night, I will never go back to a haunted house in Manhattan. Let's start buy buying the tickets. You have to go online. List price is $25. There's a $3.50 convenience fee just for buying it online and printing it. The moron at the door didn't even look at the tickets. If you bought one ticket and just xeroxed it, you won't have a problem getting in.

Second. The wait. We arrived at 7:45pm last night. The line was from the entrance to Blood Mannor to almost 10th Avenue. While we were in line, some of the creatures stopped by to "scare" us, but nothing huge really happened. Around 9:15, we finally were told that we were allowed to climb the 5 flights of stairs with about 50 other people. Once we get almost to the top, we are stopped by the staff. We waited another hour standing in the staircase while the staff took a 45 minute "break" to have dinner. Why didn't they eat dinner at 6:00, you ask? Good question. We will never know.

Around 10:15, we finally get brought into the maze. The guy tells us not to touch his actors, and that they promise that you won't be touched by them... We ran through the maze of weird and bizarre characters. If you want to be a little startled, go first in the pack of 7/9 people in your group. If you don't want to be, go last. If you go last, its basically wasting your money, because you won't be scared when people jump out at you, and it will be a total waste of time.

We got out of the "maze" around 1040 where they leave you in a gift shop selling water for $2.00, since they had deprived us of any fluids for nearly 3 hours to spend 20/25 minutes in their maze.

At the end of the evening, I left disappointed and mad that I had spent $25 (I got the general ticket, not the VIP RIP ticket), and mad that I had wasted 3 hours of my life on this experience.

Save your money. Buy 2 beers somewhere in Manhattan.
