With a well-lit, spacious bar area, complete with a plethora of happy distractions (pinball, arcade games, dartboard, multiple pool tables, foosball and flat screen TVs), Breakroom ups the ante on dive bar standards. Nightly drink specials and cheap bar food make the venue a one-stop destination for anyone tired of wearying bar crawl. The close proximity to Arizona State and the airport makes for a diverse crowd of locals and out-of-towners, and both enjoy the karaoke events that feature anything from standard love songs to Amy Winehouse. The generic bar décor does nothing to showcase the fun vibe and easygoing nature of the Breakroom, but don’t hold that against this dive.
