My boyfriend his friend and I went out with my brother to celebrate his 26th birthday at club current; expecting a chic/sexy atmosphere approached a chaotic, unorganized mess. As we approached the mass of people (obviously not conformed into any sort of structured line) we were asked to step back from the entrance gate (may I add quite rudely, do they want our money?) THEN. The lady took our money guaranteeing us direct access into the club... however; we didn't get our ID's checked until 30 minutes after!? Demanding our money back was a failed enterprise and they wouldn't allow our friend to come in! So in the end not wanting to leave one of us out we all left. The inside was not worth the cover fee of 20 dollars for men! WTF? Ridiculous. The staff was rude, disorientented and unable to sustain any sort of control. Overall it was a horrible experience. The club should stick to being a sushi restaraunt (although I have to wonder if the dining experience would be any better). Straighten up CURRENT or you will be out of business. In fact learn a little about customer service and business before trying to open a "chic lounge". and f@#% you for not returning our cover fees.
