Opera, which opened in the space that previously housed China Club, one-ups its forebearer by serving boutique drinks and classic bottle service, and boasts a state-of-the-art sound system that pervades the expansive dance floor. Shimmering black chandeliers match the deep marble accents, and weekend nights feature arresting theatrics (light shows, stand-alone singers) and velvet-rope seating. The glam touches border on baroque, but manage to exude the same cosmopolitan glitz of an Old World theater.
