Call the neighborhood South Slope, Windsor Terrace, Greenwood Heights or make up your own damn name. One thing is clear: Brooklyn's chic nightlife scene has extended further South than ever. It's safe to say that the intimate, candlelit Quarter is the first bar in this once rough neighborhood to offer specialty martinis spiced with chili and lime. In a nod to the eclectic area, there's also Miller High Life around for $3, as well as bar snacks from popular local bakery D.U.B. Pies. While there's already a crowd of regulars, it's usually easy to get a two-person table inside the narrow bar, and the spacious back patio brings in a sizeable crowd of youngsters for happy hour.
