Centolire - Centolire, which means "100 lire", opened it's doors at 1167 Madison Avenue in NYC in March 2001 and and has impressed and satisfied customers ever since. The restaurant decor is filled with antique tools used by early Italian American immigrants and elegant fabrics. Executive Chef Marta Pulini, oversees the creating of both old and new world Italian American cuisine with dishes like: classic Caesar salad prepared tableside, timpano of penne, eggplant and meatballs, chicken scarpariello and cioppino served in a crock covered with crosta di pane, and signature desserts such as: eggplant pichi pachi, traditional Neapolitan chocolate mousse, gelato and tangerine and mocha souffle.
