I have never been touched or pushed more by bouncers than at Prive
The bouncers are literally pushy.
The place is just too small to become a big-time club. The main room can hold maybe no more than 500, but they squeeze in about 800. I saw 3 fights break out on the dance floor in just a few hours, and during those fights I was either pelted with alcohol, or people spilled their drinks on me and each other as the crowd was pushed and...I'm being serious...fell onto the VIP tables from the territorial fights. There's just nowhere to stand out there on the dance floor - you are suffocated by VIP tables and pushy bouncers all the way around the dance floor. The dance floor is about 35x12 in feet - way too small. They need to eliminate some of the VIP tables, so that people can breathe and dance. I have been clubbing for almost 10 years, 7 in Vegas. I've never seen bouncers constantly herding and touching people like that before. Like I already said, the place is just too small...problem though is, if they only allowed 500 into the club, it would probably be very boring at Prive. I have a feeling this club won't survive very long...it will probably meet the same fate as "Curve" - the last club to occupy this same space. I won't be going back, unless I hear that they've removed about 10 VIP tables from the dance floor.

Waste of a night in Vegas!
I visited Prive in May 2008. We only had 1 night to go clubbing in Vegas as we were visiting from the UK. I booked and paid for tickets in advance to this club but when we arrived there was no orderly queue just a mass of people pushing and shoving to get in. Took about an hour of speaking to different staff on the door (all of whom could not have been less interested) to get in. Once inside it was not great. Limited seating, music was ear piercingly loud and most of it was hip hop that I'd never heard of. Don't waste your time - there are plenty of options in Vegas - I made the wrong choice with this club!
