please beware
this club sold twice as many tickets as they should have for new years. was unable to move / make my way over to the bar. lost a sweater in coat check. bartenders would yell at you if they thought you should give a bigger tip....this place was a disaster....i will stay away for the rest of my clubbing career..

Touch is where it's at!
Touch is one of the few actual nightclubs located in the Midtown / Theater district just north of Times Square. It's nice because a lot of people like to visit there, but once the restaurants are closed, what do you do before heading back to the hotel. Well, you can check out Touch. It's a multi-level club with plenty of high-end bottle service and VIP seating, some on the main floor, some on the second level overlooking the huge dancefloor like a balcony. The bar actually lights up when you "touch" it or put your drink down and the walls change color. We saw the MTV band 3Oh3! there and a fashion show during New York Fashion Week 2009 on 2 separate nights, so you know they are legit if they can book and host multiple different kinds of parties and events. I know they do private events too. So, check them out. The entire staff are really friendly and helpful, highly recommended if you're looking for something in Manhattan.

Average at best
I visited Touch this pass saturday. We arrive to a huge line outside a girl calling the cops for racial discrimination followed up by me watching an ASIA man (who I plan on reporting to Touch) who worked for the club hand select asians off the line to let them in. My friend knew the promoter so we got in however the bouncers even give the promoters issues with letting people in so there was some issues with that. Girls got in for free guys paid $30. Once inside the music was great!! Was not to crowded easy to get a drink the dance floor was a bit packed but not unbareable. The crowd was very mixed (surprising after what i witnessed outside) the mix was nice but then not so nice when u witness a ten pound bag in a five pound sack.. u know what I am saying? The drinks were way over priced.. order 3 vodka drinks and paid $52 (with out tip...throw another 10 for tip 62now) thats over 15each. I go out in the city often and I would say the average price in a high end place (which this is not) is about $13 not sure where Touch gets there prices. I will say the drinks were very strong!!! I also got shots of patron not sure how much they cost (i am guessing the same BS 15+) but the shots were huge i would say close to a triple shot. So this is my review all which is accurate if you choose to visit please keep everything in mind.

Alright........
The club was alright nothing to go crazy about it. Misleading with the cover charge even though u where in the guestlist u still have to pay a good chunk of money. Music was alright. Drinks were weak. I was in the guestlist from clubplanet and women are supposed to be free before 12 am. I paid $20 because when I got to the door, the bouncer said It was a reduced price. I was already there and I didn't want to look for another club or go home. Repo in another word for this place!!!

Ambiance Good, Music Good, but Drinks and Service = Horrible
I bought 3 shots and it was about 50 dollars. Also, we ordered long islands that oozed cheap liquor (bankers, etc) and cost like they used high end liquor. Not worth going back by a mile unless you have pre-gamed before hand -- but that is if you're on the guest list and they let you in. Might as well go somewhere else and don't waste your time.

Re: i'll see for myself
Dear liar, I mean, divano1: You sound like the smartest person i've ever heard of. You spend your money by going to places that gets awful reviews and has a reputation for horrible customer service. RIIIIIIIIIIIGHT. I bet you don't spend your life as a club promoter. NOT. Have fun tonight and i look forward to your wonderful review of Club Touch that I'm sure you will write tomorrow when you "get back from the club."

I'll see for myself
I'm going to this club tonight and will form my own opinion. If it really does suck, as the majority of you claim it does, I'll add myself to the list of disgruntled patrons and vow never to return:)
