The Little Owl - This cozy West Village neighborhood spot may be located in the non-descript tenement building made famous by “Friends,” but the upscale fusion bistro is a far cry from Central Perk. Despite having just 28 tables, full-length windows and recessed lighting make the tiny space feel spacious. The Little Owl was an instant fav with restaurant critics, which means reservations are a must if you are hoping for a table. However, seating at the bar is an attractive option, if you’re just interested in the beers on tap and lengthy list of wine in full and half bottles.
