Hmm...I read some reviews about this venue and was quite skeptical about going. When we arrived there was an EXTREMELY long line. My girls and I stood outside for maybe three minutes, and ended up meeting some promoters. Two seconds later we were in! Club atmosphere was fabulous! Filled with lots of beautiful people!!! Great music! Yummy drinks! Bouncers were VERY sweet and good looking! If you are "blessed" enough to get in, you'll have a FUN time! GUARANTEED =)

A car dealer friend called me up on a Friday night to invite me down to hit Club Oprah as a friend of his was hosting a party. After picking up some young ladies along the way, we arrived at the club about 10:45p.

Upon arriving my friend said he couldn't get through to his buddy for the VIP line. At this point I mentioned we were two guys with 7 attractive young ladies and most clubs I go to with these numbers give VIP anyway with our ratio. 5 minutes later we were inside and having a blast!

The drinks are pricey but the eye candy and crowd was nice. Unlike most clubs, there was a good girl-to-guy ratio. Being a former deejay, I always find myself sizing up the sounds. The deejay was on fire playing a good mix of top pop, mash-ups and old-school. Key thing was I never heard the same song twice! Good time guys thanks.

I'm going to keep this on a professional basis...first, i come into L.A. on a business trip to "Opera" for a promotion. I was put on a "guest list" or at least that's what I thought. Upon arriving, (not including the $20 Valet parking), i had to wait in line with the other guests on the "list", which was fine....but when you have the poindexter walking around with his clipboard, ignoring anything I would question about me and my staff and this infamous "guest list" to simply be ignored and mistreated because i wasn't slipping money to try to get in.....Now, i asked one of the "Opera" staff if i was getting in....and he bluntly told me "PROBABLY NOT"... now i was there at 10 and was still in line at 11, people who came after me were going in before me..so since we weren't getting in, we obviously left and paid $20 to walk not even a half a city block, cmon..Now where i come from, you get to the door and you show I.D. and your in......Your review in the Boston Herald will be a low rating....
