Blender Theatre @ Gramercy - Manhattan’s newest concert space took all of two months to find a corporate sponsor – after signing a partnership with the alternative music magazine, the Gramercy Theatre is newly christened as the Blender Theatre at Gramercy. Despite the corporate name, this is one of the City’s most intimate spaces to catch a rock show. With a 600-person capacity and unreserved seating alongside a large standing area, fans get up close and personal with national and local acts. Of course overpriced beers and concert merch come with the territory, but Blender Theatre is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Any band that you’ve heard of will sell out the space rapidly.
