Spike Hill - If you’ve ever had daydreams about being a beer-connoisseur, Spike Hill is a great place to start a crash course. Their tap is home to thirteen beers, including the local Six Point to more obscure titles like Three Philosophers and Smithwicks, and Belgian favorites like Chimay and Framboise (a raspberry-flavored lambic beer) are among the 30 bottles. In other words, there’s something for everyone. The menu consists of not-too-expensive pub-food favorites like fish and chips and grilled cheese, and the veggie chili is particularly exceptional. Come for the busy weekend brunch or late night and grab a secluded booth in the back, which allows you the privacy of eating with your mouth open.
