Cafe 1980 - Formerly called Cafe St. Helen, Café 1980 is as warm and cozy as your grandma’s living room but with hipper décor. The first thing that hits you when you walk into this coffee and sandwich shop is the smell of freshly baked desserts and high quality espresso. There’s limited seating inside (though a back patio opens up in warmer weather) and notoriously slow service, but if you suck it up and wait you'll be rewarded with incredible hot drinks (try the Belgian hot chocolate), creative sandwiches, salads, and egg dishes, affordable desserts, and an adorable scruffy staff. Yum.
