Cafe Luxembourg - In a neighborhood where new restaurants open and close almost every day, Cafe Luxembourg has remained a local favorite for over twenty years. There is nothing extravagant about this Upper West Side watering hole, where the menu, design and dress are all simple. But simple is good for a regular crowd who keep this small art deco room near capacity seven nights a week. The crowd is very diverse, ranging from young socialites to downtown hipster types to couples looking for a meal following a Lincoln Center performance. All agree that the reasonably priced beers, excellent Steak Frites, and friendly bar staff make it worth coming back on a regular basis.
