I'll write a review as soon as the management of -Amalia- come up with a great event that's actually worth attending...But, I do recommend.-The Gramercy Room- formerly Strata! Great DJ, Beautiful Crowd of Sexy! And of course, a great bar that doesn't water down the drinks...I truly recommend this night spot for 2009!

I believe the venue was not responsible for the party, but ther servers were Amalia staff. On the web, there was an indication that there were to be many delicious gourmet hors d'oevres to be passed by butlers. This was not the case. There were only four of the purported selection, sitting on a buffet. There were only two bars, and two bartender per bar, so getting a drink was a daunting task. Further, there was a debacle to get our coats at the end of the night. I expected better for the price we paid and the online description of the event. Much disappointment!

Is DJ Stacy Stylez going to be playing again this NYE and if so when do tickets go on sale? We came last New Years and have been taking about it all year. Please let me know.

This was my fouth year coming to New York City for New Years Eve, but I must say it was the best of all. The place Amalia is beautiful, smaller than I pictured it to be but still beautiful. The music was incredible thanks to DJ Stacey Styles, she totally made our night so much fun. It was also surprisingly quick to get our drinks to.The whole experience was amazing. I will go again next year for sure.
