Owner and chef Barbara Lynch fashioned this meat purveyor/wine bar/eatery in the same vein of many other South End destination dining spots. All the luster without the fuss. The menu is written on chalkboard walls, while the bright white lighting makes for comfortable, easy dining. The food and drink is the focus here, but the casual-without-being-messy style is the perfect complement. Butcher Shop is right in line with other South Enders, and there's nothing bad about that.
