Prive - Located in the heart of downtown Detroit, Prive acts as the twenty-first century reincarnation of the historic London Chop House. While the dark, non-descript exterior may be a nuisance to the uninformed patron, the similarly dark interior is far more seductive. Laden with padded leather booths that seated some of the most famous faces of our time (the Frank Sinatra booth), Prive is now the new hang out spot for Detroit’s biggest balers and hi-healed professionals. You can find an animated crowd dancing to an alluring mix of neo soul, hip-hop, and R&B by DJ Lynda Carter while the lounge area houses ladies sipping $10 martinis and ballers doing business amid an air of cigar smoke. Cigars are on the pricey side, but for extra flair, Q, the most dangerous bartender in Detroit, will light your cigar for you. The Prive experience is not cheap, but well worth it.
