Utopia - Utopia could be called one of the glittering jewels of Bourbon Street’s crown; however, this is still Bourbon Street after all. It’s important never to forget that at the end of the day, all of the jewels, diamonds, and pearls you see are really just plastic Mardi Gras beads. Utopia never fails to attract a massive crowd to its pulsating bar and beautifully illuminated patio, but the common perception in town is that Utopia is one of the better tourist traps. Don’t be put off though—you will inevitably find a couple locals going incognito, flirting with the scantily-clad shot girls. Utopia provides an atmosphere that is admittedly much more enjoyable after one to six drinks, but it is the best club on Bourbon Street for a fun, reasonably attractive crowd and popular dance music that won’t stop ‘til the sun comes up.
