Thinking of hosting your event at Aqua?
i would like the review the Aqua Lounge as a venue host. The Aqua Lounge's management and cooperation is the poorest my company has ever experienced. The owner/managers have no communication with each other. They manage to pull themselves off as great business folk with the confidence in their establishment and staff in hosting celebrity events. I'm surprised they are so successful with the reviews and back to back problems we've encountered. It's too bad that their promises and services were indeed too good to be true. They failed to communicate the simplest pieces of information, and were unavailable. They even attempted to book another party the same evening as ours (for an unrelated agency that seemed to something of greater interest and profit) after contracts had been signed. I had to provide them with copies of the contracts since they had irresponsibly lost them. Thank goodness for our own teamwork, expertise and abilities to pull off miracles, we had a successful Red Carpet/art show/concert with over 500 people in attendance. The Aqua Lounge's demeanor was very rude, impersonal, ignorant and very unprofessional. The poor MC/DJ even came up to me, expecting payment from my company since he was never presented payment from the Aqua Lounge (his own employer). The owner and manager did not treat us respectfully and like royalty until the z-readings came in from the evening bar sales (what a surprise). To top it off, It took almost two months to receive our payment...and it was still short the amount owed. We refrained from taking them to Small Claims due to our valuable investment of time and money.
