The Surf Lodge, Westchester/Long Island

Located in the outer reaches of Long Island, Surf Lodge comes from the same whiz kids behind GoldBar and Cain, but this restaurant/lounge offers a polished finesse sans the bustling Manhattan chaos. While there’s no door policy to turn away the tragically less-than-chic, many visitors still arm themselves with a Chanel tote and stylish flip-flops before marching inside. Outdoor music performances carry on throughout the summer, and patrons can sip top-notch frozen margaritas while lounging on plush banquettes. Movies play on two separate projection screens outside (Point Break, anyone?) The spacious lay-out features a long, sleek wooden bar in the front and multiple indoor and outdoor lounge areas to keep the claustrophobia-factor blessedly minimal.
