Timo -
If you’re going on a first date, Timo might be a bit over the top. Or on second thought, maybe not--the place is basically a pre-req for sex. The entire restaurant is dimmed by candles, soft lights lining the tops of a few walls, and large chandeliers made of blown glass. Very romantic indeed. The menu is quite impressive, albeit expensive, including duck breast, Alaskan salmon, risotto with sausage, prosciutto di parma, and a ravioli of the day. There’s also a good variety of wines. As you share a bottle with your date, gaze outside the glass walls facing the street. Not much of a view, unless the Halsted Storage building really piques your interest. But the glass walls, despite their view, look pretty chic. Let’s see, expensive-looking, semi-pricy....that’s what women want, right? Play your cards right and you might get laid at the end of the night.
