Cabaret - Life’s a cabaret, right? The showgirls dancing on stage at this bar will have you saying that. They only perform on Fridays, but the sexy show is a must-see, especially if you want to relive those days as an underager waiting for the peep show to start. And fellas, the showgirls aren’t the only girls glammed up in silk-n-fringe getups, the cocktail waitresses are, too. The knee-high black boots and black miniskirts are looking a bit common and unoriginal at all the other bars, don’t you think? Color is everywhere; red velvet and suede furniture, chandeliers and colored lights sauce up the room. Since it’s like a strip club, but not quite, we figured the drinks would be expensive. But not in an “overpriced regular drink” kind of way like at strip joints. Drinks are lavish and expectedly expensive, from mixed drinks to bellinis and mimosas. If you’re feeling like a million bucks, go ahead and order bottle service ($200 and up). Be warned, with a life as grand as this, a cover charge of $10-$20 (depending on the night) is expected at the door.
