This doesn’t detract from Casablanca’s charm and instead endows the Middle Eastern-inspired environment with a welcoming humbleness. However, what does damper its charm, is the broad entrance to the rear accessible only through the neighboring clothing store. Here florescent lights blaze into the back portion of the restaurant and, inviting a casually pedestrian lot of shoppers to peer in on their way to the sale racks. White curtains, white woodwork, white furniture, a ceiling draped in white, one window, an upstairs DJ booth and projection screen will be found at Casablanca Tea Room alongside food that is light and affordable, cocktails that are refreshing and innovative, and a top-notch selection of teas.
