Summery? Overpriced, dirty and not even funny.
This is a seedy comedy club located behind a plaza on Glades road in Boca Raton. Somehow I got talked into going three times but never again. The acts are always tasteless and raunchy and usually so bad it's embarrassing. Seems like the only people laughing were those in the first few rows, probably out of sympathy to the so-called comedians. The food is hugely over priced and should be categorized as fast food. The place isn't clean and frankly, a waste of your time and money. Prior to the show they raffle off a 4 night stay in a hotel supposedly worth $350, the offer good for a year. It's a worthless prize. I won it and couldn't get any answers as to how to use it and as it turned out, the offer expired the next month. A rip off, pure and simple. So all those people buying tickets (and just about everyone does) for the prize are simply getting screwed. The place used to be called Bocanuts for what it's worth.
After the show, the acts stand by the door hoping to sell you their CD's or DVD's, usually with no success as far as I can tell.
The place bills itself as an upscale club featuring "national acts". There is nothing upscale about it and the term "national acts" needs to be defined.
