Day After - Also known as Montmartre Lounge. It would be difficult to get closer to the heart of Hollywood than the location of the Day After, just steps away from the intersection of Hollywood and Highland. Upon entering though and walking up the red carpeted stairs, you could easily feel like you were in Milan. The ceiling undulates with a flair for the modern and international-minimalist style, the furniture and arrangement has the same kind of sleek simplicity, the lighting is cool and gentle, and the crowd is rarely without a plethora of star-power.But as modern as the place looks and feels, it was a mainstay of Hollywood's first Golden Age. It opened its doors in 1922, but layed dormant for years until November of last year when The Killers performed a secret show. There are no plans for regular promotions, but if there is a cool event coming up with no venue announced with it, you could definitely guess that it'd be at the Day After/Montmartre Lounge.
