Would you recommend it?
Terrible service, nasty maitre d' and awful food. Vicky, the maitre d' of Cloud 9 Cruise Ship, was a maitre d'nothing. I'd say we were on Cloud 1, and not Cloud 9 (we rented the Cloud 9-IV Cruise Ship). See Yelp! for other similar and negative reviews of Cloud 9 Cruises. Unfortunately, these were not available before I booked my event 2-years ago. TO BE AVOIDED. Details: Vicky needed to be reminded to pass out hors d'oeuvres, and reminded to serve frozen drinks that we had arranged. Sad display of food for (@$* hour ("Taco" station was chips and salsa). Remainder of food was of poor quality and had very little resemblance to the food at the "tasting" prior to booking the event. Food was served slowly and our guests complained that the hot food was served cold, but staff was unresponsive. Our affair was a Jewish one, and Vicky "forgot" the ceremonial Challah bread. Poor accommodations for our elderly guests that had trouble getting to and from the boat. Poor coordination with our DJ (which was recommended by them), our photographer and games person, which was her job, and I was this plagued by issues during the entire cruise. We also paid for rental of the TV screens on the boat, and Vicky would not allow us do display our "zap shots". We paid a 20% service fee, but were still expected to tip (which we did), and noticed all the money being given to Vicky (of which she was certainly undeserving). Was a rainy night and boat was leaking inside. I have plenty more to say, but that is enough for now. We had a wonderful time at our joyous event in spite of the staff, and not because of them.
