Terrible Terrible Business
Terrible, Terrible, Terrible business!!!
I have been looking forward to attending a big show at the Punchline for quite some time. Unfortunately our tickets were lost so we went to the Punchline in hopes that they would be able to cancel or reprint our tickets due to the accompanying documentation that we held.
When I went down to the Punchline I was brushed off and told that manager Jason would be calling me back in regards to my issue. After 5 days of no call back I called down there spoke with a female staff member who said Jason was aware of my situation and would be calling me back soon. No call back from Jason yet again so I called back a day later I was told Jason had just left the office and would be calling me back promptly upon his return. No call back once again from this elusive Jason, so I called back again the next day and was informed Jason was on a conference call and would be calling me back after its completion. I received a call back (not from Jason) from the box office attendant informing me very rudely and very bluntly that there was nothing they could do for me and that I should have taken better care of my tickets.
I informed them that both Livenation and Ticketmaster informed me that the venue should be able to cancel or reprint my order by the purchase date, ticket number or timeframe that I purchased the tickets (btw I had all three of these items) and he informed me it was impossible. Twice I had to tell the box office attendant to lower his voice because he was yelling at me. I finally told him that this was no longer just a lost ticket concern but a customer service issue and I needed to speak with Jason the manager. I was informed that Jason wouldnt be telling me anything different than what I had already been told and that I was wasting his time and the other guests time who were on hold. (Which was a blatant lie considering he never once placed me on hold to answer a call and I don't know anyone in customer service who would place a guest on hold to make an outbound call that required explaining a complicated situation to a guest). He ended up hanging up on me and I have never heard back from this manager "Jason".
I have never experienced such bad customer service and lack of management involvement!
Even though we have to eat the cost of $180.00 worth of tickets, I would have paid double that price to have avoided this upsetting situation and have attended the show at a better venue.
Dont give the Punchline your business, there are plenty of other venues out there that have good shows and treat their customers respectfully,
