one of the nicer clubs in meatpacking
Very elegant looking, takes a while to get going on a week night. as with all clubs, you´ll get in quicker if you walk in with a promoter, and admittance is easier for ladies. the crowd is pretty attractive and the music´s great
if u want to get in must have connection, willing to spend money, what ever they ask you to spend,
Door man very impolite “dog-door-man” ( terrible experience), been asked if we have reservation or if we will buy a bottle. Also very biost only wealthy looking WHITE people were getting first priority. As none of these options were ours the door man did not allow us to go in.
To my mind it’s an important that you should have hell of money to spend, it’s also a matter to tip the door-man so he can let you go in (many people were doing this to by-pass the line).
Pink Elephant should put an Advise in its website: “If you do not have reservation, if you do not know the Owner, if you do not want to tip the door-man and if you do not intend to buy any bottle service don’t come to this place. Will be useless. u will waist your time and You will not get in!!”

Very bad service
We have met a very impolite “dog-door-man” (first terrible impression). Second, he asked if we had reservation or if we did intend to buy a bottle. As none of these options were ours the door man did not allow us to go in.
To my mind it’s not a matter if you have money or not to afford that place it’s a matter to tip de door-man so he can let you go in (many people were doing this to by-pass the line).

Don't wait in line at Pink anymore
Pink Elephant is a great club with a very tough door policy... if you don't get in with a promoter, you will have to pay the 25 dollars cover charge.
You can try to mention Vero's List every thursday before 12 to avoid paying the cover .
You can also meet with Vero and Marion at midnight outside to get your group in WITHOUT WAITING + NO COVER.

Best House Parties on Thurs
Absolutely love the place!! I usually go there on thursdays and the Dj is amazing. If you like house it is the best place to go on thursday! The ambiance is great and crowd is very classy and beautiful. I myself don't smoke but as far as there being smokers inside it is true some get away with it but many are told to put it out as it is not allowed. Plus if you want to be around a classy euro crowd there are going to be smokers lol! 27th street isn't my favorite place to go but Pink is the only club I will go there for because it is worth it! I always have the best time and me and my gfs dance all night long. You don't have to worry about nasty guys groping you like at all the other clubs on 27th st. I love the place and would recommend it to everyone!!
smoke, smoke, smoke
I went to pink elephant last night for the first time. I loved the music, the decor was beautiful. Drinks were incredibly pricy.. But, I can deal with that.. it's NY. The only thing I did not like about the club was that every other person was smoking INSIDE. I don't mind smoking, nothing against it.. I however, am not a smoker, and am severely allergic. They should consider an outdoor cabana area for smokers.

NOT GREAT
I live in Miami where house music and great DJ's are the norm. My boyfriend and I visited the Pink Elephant NYC 4th of July weekend. We were super disappointed. I can understand the MAIN DJ going on about 2 AM, but usually there is SOMEONE spinning before then. They were just playing a mix tape until 2am and the dj was awful -spinning boring beats over and over again all night. Plus our drinks were $28 and I gave the bartender $40 and she walked away TWICE!! without giving me ANY change. Would never go again.

Loved it
What a hot spot!! Yes, hard door. GOOD! This place is only for the beautiful! :) So , yes dont expect crappy crowd and expect to get bottle service.
