Duvet New York, Venue Description

Duvet - This sexy nightspot does not pull the covers over anyone. Upscale dinning is combined with comfy beds. No expense is spared, and the stain-prone sheets boast a posh thread count of 400. But don’t tuck yourself in too tightly. The alarm clock goes off after a couple of hours and there is a $250 minimum. With prices like that, the checks include gratuity. The pillars of vodka and gin at the bar feature a bottle of Beefeater Wet. While the cover can put a dent in the wallet ($20 on Thursdays, $25 on Fridays and Saturdays), Duvet’s overall vibe isn’t fussy. There is even a suit bar and spotlights over the beds tucked in with 400 thread-count sheets. Included with the toilets in the men’s room is a nude male statue. We like to think there are no cameras hidden inside him.

OMG
Wow... after reading these reviews and other reviews from different sites, I'm definitely changing my plans. Thanks guys. I'm NOT going to waste my time with s#*! service. I like to pay for bottle service and get good service.

A waste of time!
My sister was supposed to have her birthday party there and would not let us in. Mind u we had been on the phone with these people all day and all of the party guests were already inside. But they would not let the birthday girl in. Screw Duvet!!!

Horrible! Don't waste your money
The people are rude, the service sucks, and way overpriced. Just a warning, keep your money and skip this club.

Dont go here
i completely agree with DontGoToDuvet. this is a sh**ty a** club. the music was good and thats it! the staff were nasty as hell. one bouncer told me to move back and he freakin shoved me back. i'm like wtf do you have a mother???? you don't have to touch a lady like that. the bouncers here have no common courtesy towards women and you would think they would since they are like 6 feet tall and like 300 lbs!
ya big retarded dumb a**
they need to fire all of em and hire some staff with some manners and common sense!

Worst NYE Ever!! Don't go here!
Paid for VIP Seated Bed on New Years which promised no lineup, food, reserved bed, champagne at midnight and open bar. Here's what we got:

1) Arrived at 10:30 - VIP line was longer than general admission and not moving. Bouncer 'generously' offered to let in 4 people for $200. Didn't make it inside until 11:15 (after being thoroughly frisked and checked with a metal detector)
2) Beds were oversold - we were promised we'd get one "IF" one opened up, but never did. Manager suggested we try to squeeze in on a stained 4-seater couch that already had 6 people on it
3) Only managed to get 2 drinks the whole night which were 0% alcohol - they wouldn't serve shots at all
4) No food to be seen anywhere
5) Champagne was not passed out at midnight - had to beg the bartender for it
6) 'Technical difficulties' caused music to stop for at least 20 minutes

The place was actually pretty packed but crowd was not impressive. I usually manage to make a good time out of a bad bar, but this place was beyond repair. Will never go back.

Do NOT use AllinNYE or Crave Tickets to buy NYE ticket
Crave Tickets is a horribly organized promo company. They make thousands of people stand for hours outside to pick up their tickets to various clubs, including Duvet, when they could come up with a better system (like printing out e-tickets). The organizers were extremely rude when we tried to voice our opinion calmly. They think that because thousands of people have to go to them for tickets, they can do whatever they want with their service. Exploitation at its best!!

Duvet itself was fun - open bar made drinks easy to get, good DJ, and enough space to dance and have a good time. Just stay away from Crave Tickets!

Joint Bachelor/Bachelorette Party
My husband and I threw our joint bachelor/bachelorette party here on the 7th of June. This club was poppin! The ambiance was right, the liquor was strong, the service was great and the music was on point. No drama at the door. We were all escorted in like the VIP that we were! My girls and I had a blast. I couldn't have asked for a better last single night. My hubby and his boys were still talkin' about this party weeks after the wedding lol. Very good spot for lounging and for partying. I would truly recommend.

This place suxs when you go there on a regular basis
I jus want to say that I llike Duvet but one friday nite made me change my views of this club. I go to Duvet on a regular basis. Every friday nite matter of fact but one friday nite, I went to duvet with my 2 friends and we were jus waiting on line and then the bouncer kicked off the line. We asked the bouncer why we got kicked off line and he told us he didnt have an answer. I thought that response was total bull s#*! . How do you kick someone off the line when they werent doing anything to disturb the peace. My friends and I werent the only ones who got kicked off the line that nite. Some chick was having a bday and 2 of her friends went inside with her and the rest of her party got kicked off the line. How do you do that to the birthday girl and then say they have no answer why the kick u off the line. I think that discrimination. But wat ever its all good. Im not going to duvet for a while now. I praise this club to all my friends how its always popping off and stuff then they have the nerve to kick me off the line and not give me a good reason why i got kicked off the line. Forget Duvet.
