Cain Luxe New York

I just came out of Cain Luxe around 4:16AM this morning and I wanted this review to be as fresh as possible. So, here it is: For a Dominican male, vs. a stiff European door man, I had no issues. This was because I was wearing a Diesel t-shirt with an Avirex white button down; topped off with a blue 'Antik' jeans and an Oleg Casssini, blue pin stripe blazer, with white Juno New York Shoes. Basically, if you want to pass the INFAMOUSLY VICIOUS DOOR... You best be at LEAST! Wearing a great suit combination, and great shoes. No shades though, I'm 70/30 with passing the door. I've been there 3 times, and only made it in twice, nice..

OK, now the decor was off the meterz, the staff kept the place clean, and the crowd was uber upscale, some rich and beyond. DJ Clutch was spinning till 3AM and he was off the hook, spinning the top hip hop, mash-ups and some Latin all night. He even played some Reggaeton, and even I was shocked cause 99% of the crowd was caucasian. The only down side was a 30 dollar cover and 15 dollar drinks. But I was prepared for the upscale prices and so should you. Overall, if your not caucasian, and you want to get into this club, you better be dressed better than the President of Dolce & Cabana himself, with some Versace cologne at least... I'M A MODEL AGENT SO I RARELY HAVE TROUBLE GET'N INTO CAIN B/C I KNOW RICHARD, I EVEN KNOW SOME OF THE STAFF AND BATHROOM ATTENDANTS AND ONE BOUNCER LIVES LITERALY ACROSS THE STREET FROM ME.

I LIKE THIS PLACE AND I HAVE NOTHING NEGATIVE TO SAY ABOUT IT. THE PPL YOU'RE WITH WILL USUALLY MAKE THE VENUE GOOD. THIS VENUE HAS BECOME ONE OF MY PLAN B SPOTS. I LIKE IT.

I hate to rain on yallz parade but,What do you expect from a bottle service whore house.Im a native New Yorker born and raised.Bottle Service ruined nightlife.PERIOD! I remember when the "real" clubs like Twilo and Tunnel were all about the music and a friendly music driven crowd,not about a bunch of pompous,pre-madonna,superficial self-indulgent pretentious white people who need some kind of "exclusive" outlet to portray themselves as the superiors,when they feel their most insecure and inferior.Bottle Service is slowly dying off.Maybe then we can get some real NY clubs going again where its not all about being some blond catty skinny white B*!(# with an attitude who practices racism regularly and bring back the clubs where people from all walks of life get together and party under one roof.Bottle service is corruption to nightlife and they are normally ran by KKK mentality.

All this hype surrounding Cain and it turned out to be boring. The music was alright, but no real dance floor so...no real dancing. That Kerem Baran promoter was a pretty bad one. He had us waiting at the door for quite a while before we could get in, while other promoters did their best to try to let their entourage in. He couldn't even get us decent discounts and he didn't let us know where his "table" was so that we could join him. Poor promoter and poor club.

Last night my sister and i with a couple of friends went to Cane where the Hispanic bouncer looked and me and said " Hey Ma you cute so i dont want you wasting your time. They not gonna let you in cause you black and got a solid shape. They only like white skinny girls." I then said whos in charge of the door? He then pointed to some white guy named RICHARD who ignored us the whole time we were there, what makes it so bad is that we knew a promoter and he still couldnt get us in. I think i threw up in my mouth several times! Im a black woman who is classy and conservative but" thats not the image the owner wants to portray" Seriously its 2009 and this is still happening this is baffling but im gonna do everything in my power to let people know whats really up, (sigh )so sad that it probably wouldnt make a difference (The people outside all looked like hungry dogs that thought steak was inside!

ONLY A PEOPLE THAT FEELS INFERIOR, NEED AN EXCLUSIVE CLUB!!! KKKain LUXE keep your Racist and Sinful Club. HELL on This EARTH, Is all you have. To All the BLACK Bouncers... Your Ancestror Were SOLD Against Their WILL, And In This Current Day... YOU'RE SELLING YOURSELF SHORT AND YOUR PEOPLE OUT!!!

Apparently I was overdressed when I went to Cain. I didn't have my pubic hair exposed and I was sober so i didn't meet the criteria of the selective door policy that the stink ass door chick so rudely implemented last night. But I watched literally as she allowed drunk, half-dressed white girls in to party. I guess the next time i'll be more selective about where i choose to party. That definitely was not my crowd!

I was a little skeptical coming here because the reviews are sooo mixed. but i went on a saturday night and it was A LOT of fun. nice crowd, it doesnt get ridiculously packed. good music. HOT staff. drinks are overpriced but its NYC, you cant expect otherwise. but if youre a girl, im sure u can get some drinks from all the VIPs around. come with a promoter and girls get in free. i dno about guys cuz i didnt go with any, but girls def have complimentary admission. i will DEF be back

I love partying there. The crowd is very trendy, the music keeps everyone dancing and the staff will be nice to you if you're nice to them. BTW theres no lady at the door. Its a guy at the door. Most people bash it because they can't get in.

I don't know why all of you other club promoters waste your time bashing clubs. I think Cain Luxe is great and everytime I go I have a blast! I am treated with the utmost respect when I go there. If it wasn't so great, I don't think that popular TV shows would be shotting there!
