H2O - With a stunning view of the Jefferson Memorial and boats idling on Washington Channel, it is little wonder that the giant, cavernous, stylish H2O packs them in seven days a week. Once the home of the late, lamented seafood mecca Hogate’s, H2O honors that legacy by dishing out fresh, well executed, expensive seafood. They even still offer Hogate’s rather touristy ‘rum buns.’
But as the night wears on and the diners thin out, expect the DJ’s to spin and the crowd to dance. They take the “lounge” part of the ‘restaurant/lounge’ very seriously; with a sophisticated drink menu and special theme nights to prove it. Check the website to stay on top of the schedule.
