Area - It has it all: a swank atmosphere, attractive crowd, and cheap drinks. Okay, okay, so maybe it doesn’t have cheap drinks, but Area is still a solid lounge. Not really a dance club, per se, but perfect more a more upscale option.

Area club not for Asian!!!

I feel awful!
I've never been to this club before. I and 3 Asian girls were on the guestlist tonight. After we paid $20 for parking, we told the door man that we were on the guestlist. The door man keeped us waiting outside of the door, and in the other hand there were many white people arrived after us. They also told him that they were on the guestlist. The door man right away let them in, and still keeped us waiting outside of the door. We asked him how long we have to wait. He opened his arms said "I don't know", and right away talk to the other parties. It seems like we didn't exist. This attitude really made us angry.
We didn't even want to waste time there, only wasted our $20 parking, and drived to Highland club right away. We had a good time in the Highland club.
I am a pretty Asian woman and enjoy dancing in the night club. I will advice all my friends don't go to Area club. It sucks!!! The Area club should give back our $20 parking fee!!!

I went on a MOnday night the door guys look intimidating but thats there job, after talking to them I realy liked them. There are hot guys all over that club. And hot chicks. I don't go there anymore though b.c of one bad time.

I went to Area on a Monday night, the door guys gave me some s#*! at first, but then after I talked to them they where nice to me and let me in, Damn there where so many sexy guys there I could die! I think it's a great pic up spot and I had fun they played the type of music I like tecno house, trance.
