If plasma screens, pumping music, cool crowds and intimate lighting float your boat, then head to the Red Sky Bar on East 29th St. Hip but not tragically so, the atmosphere is pleasant, friendly and absolutely not hipster. Add to that the excellent selection of on-tap beers, the aquariums and the fact that upstairs double as an art gallery, and you’ll see why it’s hard to get bored at the Red Sky. Prices aren’t hernia-inducing, and the staff is attractive and attentive. The best part? You don’t have to be a shepherd to find the Red Sky at night a delight.
