12 Galaxies - Set to give you a night of live music that is out of this world. 12 Galaxies is a 6000 sq-ft venue, with a shallow platform for a stage allowing more intimacy than any other venue in the city. Candelit cocktail tables surround the performance space where local and nationally emerging groups play rock, jazz, swing and blues nearly every night of the week. Upstairs you can play pool, relax in the two lounges, or grab a drink and get a bird's eye view of the performers from the balcony.

Girls, look out for the staff/animals

12 Galaxies is a pretty nice place to see a show for small to mid-sized acts. My biggest gripe with the place is the staff, mainly the bouncers. It seems that if there aren't any problems form them to deal with, they will start harassing the closest person. I've witnessed this several times. From calling someone a "faggot" to grabbing girls' asses, these guys will do anything they can on their power trip and as soon as you ask them to leave you alone, they reveal themselves as staff and have you removed. Pretty nice huh? Staff person named Mike seems particularly meth'd up over a shot of steroids. If the management can can those crooks back in the zoo, this would be a really great place.

This place is i the Mission....

It looks a lot nicer on the website. Service at the bar was prompt, but not friendly. They generally book local acts, that probably couldnt get a show anywhere else. ...
